Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in the following ways:
- In person - drop your repeat slip in at reception having clearly marked the items required.
- By post- *

*Written requests must have your full name, DOB and Address including the name, strength and dosage of you required medication

Urgent requests will only be accepted for certain medications, please discuss with reception. If the surgery is closed but you have a prescription you may go to the nearest pharmacy. However, if you are not in possession of a prescription you will need to contact the out-of-hours service to obtain one by ringing 111.
We are a dispensing practice which means that you will be able to collect your medicines straight after seeing your doctor. If your medicine is not held in stock we are usually able to obtain it by the next surgery session.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow 3 full working days or 24 working hours (Wednesday is classed as half a day) for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take into account, Wednesday afternoons, weekends and bank holidays when we are closed.
